Fire at Novo Nordisk – smoke visible from many kilometers away
Shortly before 1 PM, the West Zealand Fire Department was called out to a fire at Novo Nordisk on Hallas Allé in Kalundborg.
A fire had broken out at a ventilation system, and the flames spread to the roof. The fire produced thick black smoke, which was visible from many kilometers away.
Employees at the site were evacuated while firefighters battled the flames.
Shortly before 2:30 PM, the fire was considered extinguished.
