
Denmark’s Prime Minister shocked by shooting attack on Slovakia’s Prime Minister
Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico was seriously injured on Wednesday afternoon when shots were fired at him.
The shooting took place in the town of Handlová in northwestern Slovakia after a government meeting.
The police have arrested a man following the attack.
Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen is shocked by the attack. In a message posted on the Prime Minister’s x.com profile, she states:
“I am shocked by the terrible attack on Prime Minister Fico. Violence has absolutely no place in our society. My thoughts are with Prime Minister Fico, his loved ones, and the Slovak people.”
