Warning for severe weather on Sunday
DMI has issued a category 1 warning – severe weather – which includes all of Zealand, Møn, Lolland, and Falster.
The warning is in effect from Sunday morning at 4:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
During this period, DMI expects between 25 and 35 mm of rain in 6 hours. There is also a risk of local cloudbursts with more than 15 mm in 30 minutes.
The cause is a low-pressure area with widespread rain and thunderstorms, which on Sunday evening will be situated over the southwestern part of France and heading northeast through Germany. The precipitation area will also reach Denmark overnight.
