
Dates for the trial of the Field’s shooter are set
The dates of the trial of the 22-year-old man charged with the Field’s shopping mall shooting have now been scheduled.
This is according to the Prosecution Service of the Copenhagen Police.
The case will go to the Copenhagen City Court (Københavns Byret) and six court days have been scheduled; June 12, June 13, June 20, June 28, July 3 and July 5.
The shooting at Field’s took place in the late afternoon of July 3 last year when a man shot a rifle in the shopping center. Three people were killed and four injured.
The 22-year-old was arrested after a major police effort and has been in custody ever since. The prosecutor’s office said he had his detention extended further until February 8.
