Former king Constantine is dead
The former Greek king, Constantine II, is dead.
This is reported by international media, including the Greek news agency AMNA.
Constantine was King of Greece from 1964 until he was deposed in a military coup in 1967.
He married princess Ann-Marie, sister to the danish Queen Margrethe on 18 September 1964, three weeks after her 18th birthday.
After the military coup, they had to live in exile, but returned to Greece in 2013.
Constantine died in a hospital in Athens.
He lived to be 82 years old and is survived by his wife, Anne-Marie, five children and nine grandchildren.
