Thomas Helmig thanks for overwhelming compassion

In a post on Instagram, Thomas Helmig thanks him for the support he and the family have received after the death of his son Hugo Helmig.

-I want to use today to thank everyone for the absolutely overwhelming compassion and support that my family and I have received from you during this difficult time, writes Thomas Halmig.

In the post, he writes about how he and his son shared a huge love for music.

-So even in the midst of the sadness I am in now, I will look forward to my concerts next year where I will pay tribute to music, community, love and yes, life.
