First prize of 24,000,000 Danish kroner tonight
On Saturday evening, there is a 24 million kroner jackpot for the first prize in Lotto.
This was announced by Danske Spil.
According to Danske Spil, it has been more than 2.5 years since a larger jackpot was won in Lotto. The last time was in April 2021, when a lucky resident of Aarhus won a whopping 30,000,000 kroner.
“It is very rare for so much time to pass between winning the first prize in Lotto. On one hand, we miss being able to award a first prize, but on the other hand, the wait has just made the jackpot larger and larger, so now we get to award an even bigger prize. And we look forward to being able to distribute the 24 million to the right winner,” says Malene Mølgaard, CEO of Danske Lotteri Spil, the company behind Lotto.
