
Romanian Citizen Arrested for Drug Possession and Trafficking
On Amager, the police stopped a 38-year-old Romanian citizen driving against traffic early Sunday morning.
The man was found in possession of small bags containing cocaine and a sum of cash believed to be proceeds from drug sales, according to police assessments.
He was apprehended and brought before the court, where he confessed and additionally revealed that he had been selling cocaine in the days leading up to his arrest.
The man was sentenced to an immediate six-month prison term and deportation from Denmark with a six-year reentry ban.
