Inmate dies in prison
On Friday, a 38-year-old male inmate died while serving his sentence at Kragskovhede Prison in North Jutland.
This is reported by Ekstrabladet.dk, which also writes that the man is said to have complained of severe pain. The Danish Prison and Probation Service has not commented on this to the media.
The police were called, and the incident will, as required by regulations, be reported to the Parliamentary Ombudsman.
According to Ekstrabladet.dk, the incident led inmates to demonstrate on Saturday.
