Person died in fire
A person died Thursday evening in a fire in an apartment on Jagtvej in Nørrebro.
The Greater Copenhagen Fire Department were alerted to the fire at 7:19 p.m.
Firefighters found a person in the apartment, who was rescued and handed over to the ambulance service. The person was subsequently pronounced dead.
The police report that the relatives of the deceased have been notified.
The firefighters managed to extinguish the fire, after which they investigated whether there had been any fire spread in the structure, and conducted damping-down operations.
No other persons were injured in the fire.
