Attempted Rape Foiled: Woman Fights Back, Attacker Flees Scene on Amager

A woman was attacked and attempted raped early Saturday morning.
The assault took place shortly after 4:30 a.m. on Richard Mortensen Road in Amager. The woman had previously disembarked from the metro at Vestamager Station a few hundred meters away.
The woman shouts and physically resists, which is likely the reason why the man gives up his attempt and flees the scene.
Despite investigating the crime scene and the surrounding area, no suspects have been arrested in the case yet.
