Man sentenced to five years in prison for sexually abusing stepdaughter

A 32-year-old man has been sentenced by the District Court in Glostrup for sexually abusing his stepdaughter.
The abuse took place between 2022 and 2026, when the girl was between 11 and 14 years old.
Police received a report in February, and the man was remanded in custody shortly afterwards.
“The girl was very much on her own in a difficult and stressful family situation. She deserves great recognition for confiding in friends and adults, who then involved the authorities,” senior prosecutor Sara Friis said.
The court sentenced the 32-year-old man to five years in prison and ordered his permanent deportation to North Macedonia.
The man appealed the verdict immediately.
