Being Investigated as Homicide Case: Man Found Dead in Burnt-out Trailer

Sunday evening, a person was found dead in a burning trailer on Frieslandsvej in Dragør.

Police and firefighters were dispatched to the burning trailer around 10:20 p.m., and during the extinguishing work, a dead man was found inside the trailer.

The deceased has now been identified as the 67-year-old resident of the trailer, and the autopsy reveals that he was killed by multiple stab wounds.

“There were signs from the beginning that we could be dealing with a homicide case, and we have initiated a number of investigative steps and technical examinations at the scene. The investigation continues, of course,” says Deputy Police Inspector Brian Belling.

In connection with the investigation, Copenhagen Police are seeking witnesses who may have information about the case or who were in the area around Frieslandsvej on Sunday evening. The police can be contacted at telephone number 114.
