Knippelsbro closed – fears scaffold at Børsen may collapse

Knippelsbro has been closed on Sunday evening as the police fear that the scaffold at Børsen may collapse.

According to the police, the reason for the unstable scaffold is storm damage.

Knippelsbro is closed in both directions from Torvegade and Børsbroen.

Copenhagen Police inform that a scaffolding company has been called for repairs.

There is currently no timeframe for when Knippelsbro will reopen.

Update @ 10.20 pm: The police have lifted the blockade of Knippelsbro.
