A 25-year-old man was found killed in a car at Johannes V. Jensen’s Allé in Frederiksberg around noon on Sunday.

Copenhagen Police received a report on Sunday at 12:28 p.m. that a lifeless person had been found in a car at Johannes V. Jensen’s Allé in Frederiksberg near the construction site Domus Vista.

The person in the car turned out to be a 25-year-old man who had been killed by gunshot, and an extensive investigation was immediately launched.

“We are seeking witnesses who may have seen anything in the area from last night until now. Especially between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Saturday evening, when someone heard something that could have been gunshots,” said investigation leader Robert Jensen from Copenhagen Police, adding:

“We continue to work at the scene and will probably be there for the rest of the afternoon and evening to secure evidence. But we need the help of the public, so if anyone has seen anything in the area yesterday or today – or otherwise knows anything about the case, please contact us at 1-1-4.”

We will be present with the mobile police station.

Copenhagen Police will also have a reassuring presence in the area for the rest of Sunday, and on Monday, the mobile police station will be present. Here, people can also stop by if they have seen anything – or just if they feel like talking to the local officers.

The relatives of the 25-year-old have been notified.

At present, there is nothing to suggest that the murder is gang-related – but it is too early to say more about the motive.
