MP kicked out of the Moderates – has a relationship with a minor

Member of Parliament Mike Villa Fonseca is finished with the Moderates (Moderaterne) after it was revealed that he has a relationship with a minor girl.

He tells TV2 that he is taking sick leave from his parliamentary work and will not return to the party. Instead, he will become an independent member of parlament.

According to Ekstrabladet.dk and TV2, the chairman of the Moderates, Minister of Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen, has confirmed to the media that the 28-year-old former member of the Moderates is in a relationship with a 15-year-old girl. The relationship began when the girl was in 8th grade.

A relationship with a person under 18 is a violation of the Moderates’ code of conduct.

Mike Villa Fonseca is elected to the Parliament for the Moderates in the Zealand Grand District (Sjællands Storkreds).
