Strong Winds Disrupt Train Services in Denmark

DSB reports that train operations on Friday will be affected by the strong winds. This applies to both S-trains and regional trains in Zealand.

Starting from Friday at 10 AM, all S-train lines will operate at reduced speeds due to the stormy weather.

Line A will depart 2 minutes earlier than usual from Hillerød, and from Holte, Line A will follow the regular schedule but at a reduced speed.

Line E will depart 3 minutes earlier than usual from Køge, and from Hundige, Line E will follow the regular schedule but at a reduced speed.

Regional trains will also be impacted. Between 3:00 PM and 2:00 AM, there will be hourly service between Næstved and Nykøbing F, hourly service between Copenhagen H and Næstved via Køge, and half-hourly service between Copenhagen H and Næstved via Roskilde.

In Jutland, train operations are affected between 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM. During this time, there will be hourly service between Aarhus and Aalborg. Regional trains between Aarhus and Fredericia are canceled. Hedensted, Brejning, and Børkop will be served by InterCityLyntog trains heading towards Fredericia and InterCity trains heading towards Aarhus. Speed reductions will be in effect on the stretches between Hedensted and Brejning, as well as between Gråsten and Sønderborg.
