200 individuals searched in Copenhagen’s two active stop-and-search zones in the past week
The Copenhagen Police report that during the past week, approximately 200 individuals have been searched in the two stop-and-search zones active in Copenhagen.
They also revealed the discovery and seizure of 14 edged weapons and four other firearms. Eight individuals have been charged with illegal possession of weapons.
One of the stop-and-search zones covers Christiania and part of Amager, while the other encompasses parts of Nørrebro and Nordvest.
During a patrol on Saturday evening, an axe was found hidden in an abandoned cargo bike.
These two stop-and-search zones will remain in effect until next Tuesday at 18:00.
