Jakob Ellemann-Jensen steps down as Minister of Defense to instead become Minister of Economy.

Troels Lund Poulsen returns as Minister of Defense, a position he held for six months while Ellemann-Jensen was on sick leave due to stress.

The announcement of the ministerial reshuffle was made on Tuesday.

In addition to taking on the role of Minister of Economy, Jakob Ellemann-Jensen will continue as Deputy Prime Minister.

Both Jakob Ellemann-Jensen and Troels Lund Poulsen are members of the Venstre party.
