Recalling liver pate after plastic discovery

Discovery of soft, blue plastic in liver pate (Leverpostej) has prompted the company Hanegal A/S to recall the affected liver pate.
The plastic ended up in the liver pate due to a technical error in the production process.
The affected product is COOP 365 ØKOLOGISK LEVERPOSTEJ, which has been sold in COOP 365 stores throughout the country. The liver pate has a production date of 27.06.2023 and a best before date of 27.07.2023. Additionally, it has the EAN barcode number: 5700381795858.
The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration advises consumers to discard the product or return it to the store where it was purchased.
