US President Joe Biden will join Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen on July 13th as she attends a Nordic-American summit in Helsinki, along with the heads of state and government from Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Iceland.

The countries will discuss various topics, including Russia’s war in Ukraine, follow-up on the NATO summit in Vilnius, and the green transition.

-“In a time when the geopolitical situation is in turmoil and there is war in Europe, it is important that we in the Nordic region stand closely together with our allies. And the United States is the most important ally. With Finland’s accession to NATO, the Nordic allies stand together as a strong partner for the United States. I look forward to discussing the many major challenges we face in a close circle,” says Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.
