“The threat to Denmark remains unchanged,” writes Acting Minister of Defense Trouls Lund Poulsen on Facebook following today’s dramatic events in Russia.
“It is developing by the hour, and therefore, I will avoid speculating on the unfolding situation. However, the government is closely monitoring the situation,” the minister writes.
And he adds:
“This afternoon, I received a briefing, and Denmark is in close dialogue with our alliance partners, with whom we share relevant information. Finally, it is important for me to emphasize that it is the assessment of the FE (Foreign Intelligence Service) that the threat to Denmark remains unchanged, regardless of the events of the past 24 hours.”
