DMI issues warning: Heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and flash flood

DMI has issued warnings of heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and flash flood.

For large parts of Zealand, a risk warning has been issued, where according to DMI, there is a risk of heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and flash flood. Between 15 and 25 mm of rain can locally fall in 30 minutes.

The warning applies from Monday at 1 pm to 6 pm.

The risk warning applies to the following municipalities: Odsherred, Kalundborg, Holbæk, Sorø, Ringsted, Slagelse, Næstved, Lejre, Roskilde, Frederikssund, Halsnæs, Egedal, Hillerød, Helsingør, Fredensborg, Gribskov, Allerød, Hørsholm, Rudersdal and Furesø.

Warnings of heavy rain for Jutland

DMI has also issued both a risk warning and a category 1 warning of local heavy rain for large parts of Jutland and Funen.

The risk warning for heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and flash flood applies to all of Jutland and the Funen municipalities of Middelfart, Nordfyn, Assens, Odense and Kerteminde. The warning is in effect until Sunday at 6 pm. Between 15 and 25 mm of rain can locally fall in 30 minutes.

The category 1 warning applies from Monday at 1 pm to 6 pm. DMI expects heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and flash flood. Between 15 and 25 mm of rain can fall in 30 minutes.

The warning applies to the following municipalities in Jutland: Jammerbugt, Aalborg, Vestimmerland, Skive, Rebild, Mariagerfjord, Viborg, Randers, Favrskov, Herning, Ikast-Brande, Silkeborg, Skanderborg, Horsens, Billund, Vejle, Vejen, Kolding and Haderslev.
