Woman charged with assault and robbery against 76-year-old man

A 33-year-old woman from Brazil has been taken into custody, charged with violence and robbery against a 76-year-old man.

The robbery and violence took place on November 19 last year in the 76-year-old’s apartment in Østerbro in Copenhagen.

Here the man was drugged and robbed of cash and valuables.

As part of the police investigation, the woman was wanted internationally and on March 23 she was arrested at Rome airport.

On Thursday, she was picked up by Danish police, and on Friday she was produced for questioning and remanded in custody until April 25.
