Sentenced to six years in prison: Smuggled hash in pig transport

A 42-year-old man has been sentenced to six years in prison for his role in the smuggling of 1030 kg of hash, which was hidden in a pig transport.

The verdict was delivered on Friday at the Court in Roskilde.

The 42-year-old has admitted that he, on three occasions between October and November 2020, together with several accomplices, organized the transportation of a total of 1030 kg of hash from Malaga in Spain to Denmark. The hash was transported to Denmark in a pig transport and delivered to addresses in various parts of the country.

The 42-year-old was also convicted of possessing two pistols with corresponding ammunition and possessing nearly 1200 grams of hash.

The driver who transported the pigs from Spain to Denmark had previously been sentenced to prison in the case. Two other men have also been previously convicted for their involvement in organizing the smuggling.
