Three Swedish Teenagers Remanded in Custody for Robbery at Copenhagen Jewelry Store
Three Swedish teenagers have been remanded in custody, charged with robbing the jewelry store Baseem Luxury on Grønnegade in Copenhagen.
The robbery took place on Tuesday afternoon when three masked robbers entered the store, threatening the owner and customers with knives and a pistol. Several display cases in the store were smashed, and the perpetrators subsequently fled with several valuable watches.
The trio was apprehended shortly afterward. According to the police, the suspects are two 15-year-old young men and one 17-year-old young man.
On Wednesday, they were brought before a closed-door court hearing. The judge decided to remand them in custody for three weeks.
A fourth perpetrator is still at large.
