21-Year-Old Initially Declared Deceased by Police Dies Following Assault

A 21-year-old man, who the police initially reported as deceased on Monday morning, only to later announce that he was alive, has now succumbed to his injuries after an assault.

Copenhagen Police provided this information on Monday evening.

In connection with the police presence in the Pilesvinget area of Brønshøj on Monday morning, it was reported that a 21-year-old man had died after being admitted to a hospital. Later in the morning, Copenhagen Police issued a message on the social media platform x.com, stating that the 21-year-old was NOT deceased but seriously injured.

On Monday evening, Copenhagen Police issued a new message on x.com, confirming that the 21-year-old had passed away tonight.

The police have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with the case, and he has been remanded in custody for four weeks.
