Fatal Shooting at Christiania Leaves One Dead and Four Injured

A person is dead and four others are injured after a shooting on Saturday evening at Christiania.

Copenhagen Police report that they received the first report of a shooting at 7:25 PM on and near “Stjernskibet” in Pusher Street.

Two masked individuals opened fire, resulting in the death of a 30-year-old man and the injury of four others, one of them seriously.

After firing shots, the perpetrators fled the scene on electric bicycles towards Langebro.

Upon receiving the report of the shooting, the police responded in force to the scene, quickly cordoning off the area around the crime scene to allow for police work, including evidence collection.

The police state that the deceased individual has ties to the biker community.

Two individuals have been arrested at Christiania, and the police are now investigating whether they have any connection to the shooting.
