Copenhagen Police Commends Parents and Road Users for Safe School Routes
Copenhagen Police highly praise parents and other road users after conducting road inspections at 11 schools in the police district on Wednesday.
One parent was charged for not properly securing their child. According to the Council for Traffic Safety, this results in the driver receiving a demerit point on their driver’s license, a fine of 2,000 DKK, and 500 DKK to the Victim Fund, if a child under 15 years old is not correctly fastened in the car.
A motorist received a parking fine during the police’s school route inspection.
