Police Bust Major Hash Operation: Seven Arrested in Coordinated Zealand Raids

On Tuesday morning, the police conducted a coordinated operation involving arrests and searches at addresses in Zealand in connection with a major hash case. A total of seven individuals have been arrested.

The arrested individuals are suspected of collectively smuggling and redistributing large quantities of hashish during the period from January to August 2023.

During the searches, the National Special Crime Unit (NSK) found a total of 500 kg of hashish distributed across two of the addresses.

The arrested individuals consist of six men and one woman, ranging in age from 27 to 67 years old. They will be presented in a preliminary hearing at the Court in Roskilde tomorrow, Wednesday.

The prosecution will request closed proceedings during the presentation of the arrested individuals, as stated by the National Special Crime Unit, which handles the most complex and serious cases of economic crime, organized crime, and cybercrime.
