The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ website is down

Read Time:49 Second

Friday evening, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ website went down, and on Saturday morning, the issues persist.

Visitors to the ministry’s website, uv.dk, are met with the message “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ websites are currently not available” and the explanation “Due to technical problems, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ websites are not accessible at the moment. We are working to resolve the issue” in Danish.

The lack of accessibility means, among other things, that it’s not possible to view the ministry’s travel advisories. Instead, the ministry advises that in case of an acute crisis abroad, you can contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Global Watch Center 24/7 at phone: +45 33 92 11 12 or bbb@um.dk. You can also reach out to the watch center to access travel advisories and register on the Danish List (Danskerlisten). You can still register on the Danish List through the UM Rejseklar app, but you won’t be able to access travel advisories there.
