Two Georgian Citizens Arrested for Burglary in Copenhagen Apartment Complex
Two Georgian citizens have been remanded in custody, charged with burglary.
It was a female resident in an apartment in Østerbro who contacted the police on Wednesday night because she suspected that a burglary was in progress in an apartment in her building.
A police patrol drove to the scene where they encountered two Georgian men, aged 41 and 45, outside the building. The two men were arrested. Various valuables were found in their backpacks, leading to both of them being charged with burglary.
Subsequently, they were brought before a preliminary hearing, and the court decided to remand the two men in custody for 13 days.
Copenhagen Police stated that they are now investigating whether the two men can be linked to other burglaries.
