A 20-year-old man has been taken into custody, charged with two street robberies in Nørrebro back in October last year.
The robberies took place on October 2 and 3. In the attack on October 2, a 28-year-old man was beaten with a bat and threatened into a car, after which was driven around to various ATMs and was forced to withdraw cash. On October 3, a 76-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed of her valuables.
The 20-year-old was arrested Thursday at an address in Ishøj.
The preliminary hearing took place on Friday behind closed doors, and here the court chose to remand the 20-year-old in custody for 12 days.
Copenhagen Police said the investigation into the case was continuing and they were still looking for accomplices.
