Man shot and killed by police – stabbed an officer

A man was shot and killed by police Wednesday afternoon.
According to local police, the man had stabbed a police officer before he was shot.
It is standard procedure in cases where a police officer has fired shots that the case be handed over to the Independent Police Complaints Authority (DUP), which will conduct the investigation.
According to DUP, it received notification from Copenhagen Police at 1.09 pm about the shooting incident, which occurred around 1 pm.
