Several fires on New Year’s Eve

On New Year’s Eve and night, the fire brigade had to go out to several fires in Copenhagen and the suburbs.

In Scandiagade there was a fire in an apartment on the 4th floor. The fire was so violent that large flames came out of a window in the apartment. No one was injured in the fire.

In Rødovre there was a fire in a garbage room under a apartment building on Egegårdsstien. The fire brigade quickly extinguished the fire and ventilated the building.

The fire brigade had to fight a major roof fire in an apartment building on Mågevej in Copenhagen. The fire spread over three staircases. All the residents were evacuated and the fire brigade managed to extinguish the fire after a few hours.

There were also several smaller fires. Among other things, there was a fire in a caravan in Sydhavnen, a fire in two cars in Amager and a fire in a sofa on a balcony in Tagensvej.
