19-year-old stabbed in Holbæk

A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital after suffering several stab wounds in central Holbæk shortly after midnight.

At 12.06am, a police patrol was driving along Ahlgade when officers saw a man emerge from an alley near Nygade. The officers found the situation suspicious and approached the man, who had entered a courtyard.

The man had blood on his face, and officers discovered wounds to his shoulder and neck.

Several police patrols were sent to the scene, and an area around Nygade, Ahlgade and Vestergade was cordoned off to secure the potential crime scene.

The injured man was identified as a 19-year-old from Kalundborg. He was taken by ambulance to hospital, where doctors found that he had suffered several stab wounds. His injuries were not life-threatening.

Police examined the scene and are continuing their investigation. Officers are obtaining CCTV footage from the area in an effort to establish what happened.

According to police, the 19-year-old does not wish to assist with the investigation.
