Copenhagen Pride Parade takes place on Saturday

Around 250,000 people are expected to take to the streets when the Copenhagen Pride Parade is held on Saturday.

The parade starts at Frederiksberg City Hall and makes its way through the city along Allegade, Frederiksberg Allé, Vesterbrogade, Hammerichsgade and Studiestræde, before finishing at Pride Square at City Hall Square. Along the route, announcers will introduce the participating groups to the many spectators.

At Pride Square, the celebrations will continue with the Parade Show and an evening of drag, music, speeches and live performances.

Spectators can watch from the sidelines along the route or join the parade, either individually or with a small group of friends. No registration is required, but participants must follow the organisers’ instructions and rules.

The Copenhagen Pride Parade takes place on Saturday from 1 p.m.
