Quiet day for Copenhagen emergency services with only a few callouts

Greater Copenhagen Fire Department had only a limited number of callouts during the past 24 hours.

On Sunday at 10:41, firefighters were called to a traffic accident involving several vehicles on Folehaven. A car had hit four parked vehicles. Two people were taken to hospital for treatment. The emergency services cleared debris from the road.

At 14:01, emergency crews responded to another traffic accident. This time it was on Stamholmen in Hvidovre, where several cars were involved. Debris was also removed from the road at this location.

At 16:39, firefighters were called to a small vegetation fire on Finsensvej. The fire was quickly extinguished.

There were also several fire alarms, which turned out to be either false alarms or had been triggered for various reasons. One of them occurred at 10:47 at an address on Hvidovrevej, where a detector had been activated by smoke from a smoke machine.

At 11:11, a fire alarm was triggered at an address on Store Strandstræde. In this case, dust from construction work had activated the detector.

There were also several cases where smoke from cooking set off fire alarms, requiring the emergency services to respond.
