Video: Police officer kicks man lying on the ground

A video currently being shared on social media shows a police officer who apparently kicks a person lying on the ground forcefully.

The incident took place on Saturday evening at around 9:30 p.m. in the Herredsvej area of Aarhus.

The video shows a man fleeing from the police, but after stopping, he is ordered to lie down. While he is lying on the ground, a female police officer approaches him, and shortly afterwards what appears to be the dog handler comes running up and kicks the man who is lying down. Another police officer is standing nearby watching.

East Jutland Police state that the incident has been reported to the Independent Police Complaints Authority.
