Downed overhead power line causes rail chaos

A downed overhead power line near Sorø is causing problems for rail traffic on Sunday afternoon.

According to DSB, trains between Ringsted and Slagelse have come to a standstill, and travel times between different parts of the country are longer than usual.

Banedanmark states that trains will not be able to operate on the affected section before 6:00 p.m. at the earliest.

DSB is deploying replacement buses on the route, but it is proving difficult to secure enough buses. In addition, the times shown on Rejseplanen.dk should be regarded as indicative only.
