Teacher convicted of sexual assault on a 6-year-old girl

The court in Svendborg has sentenced a 35-year-old male school teacher from Southwest Funen to 9 months in prison for a sexual assault.
The man has been convicted of touching and stimulating a 6-year-old girl’s private parts.
The assault took place at the school where the man was employed. The girl was a student at the school.
The convicted man has been prohibited from working with children and young people for the next 3 years, and he must pay compensation of 20,000 DKK to the girl.
The 35-year-old man has requested a 14-day period to consider whether he will appeal the case.
