45-Year-Old Sentenced to Six Years in Prison for Attempted Murder

A 45-year-old man has been sentenced by the Court in Glostrup to six years in prison for attempted murder.
The man was convicted on Wednesday for an assault in Ishøj in June last year, during which he repeatedly stabbed towards another man’s neck and head area with a large knife.
According to the court, the victim managed to fend off the attack, but was struck once in each shoulder.
The court found it proven that the assault constituted attempted murder.
The 45-year-old has appealed the verdict.
