Two Women Remanded in Custody After Explosion on Amager
Two women aged 26 and 22 have been remanded in custody in connection with the investigation into the explosion that took place on Amager on Monday.
Copenhagen Police stated on Tuesday that the investigation led to the arrest of the two Danish citizens on Monday evening. The women appeared in a preliminary court hearing on Wednesday charged with complicity in attempted murder as well as possession and transfer of a hand grenade.
The prosecution requested closed doors during the hearing.
Following the court session, the prosecution announced that both women had been remanded in custody. The 26-year-old was remanded for four weeks, while the 22-year-old was remanded for two weeks.
Both are charged with possession and transfer of a hand grenade.
