Two Men Arrested After Explosion on AmCopenhagen Police have arrested two men aged 19 and 20 following the explosion that occurred on Sunday evening on Kurvemagerstien on Amager.
The two Danish citizens have been charged with attempted murder and possession of a hand grenade. They are due to appear in a preliminary court hearing on Monday at 3:00 PM, where the prosecution will request closed doors.
The explosion took place at around 6:00 PM on Sunday, when a 31-year-old man was seriously injured. Shortly after the incident, police stated that it was still unclear what had caused the explosion and that investigations were therefore being carried out at the scene.
Copenhagen Police emphasise that there is no reason for concern among residents in the area.
The case remains under investigation.
