Man killed in stabbing in Holstebro

A 35-year-old man was killed in the early hours of Saturday following a stabbing in an apartment on Rendsborggade in Holstebro.

Police received the report at 03:20 and responded to the scene, where the man had been stabbed and later died. According to the police, it is believed that the killing took place in an environment involving substance abuse.

The perpetrator or perpetrators remain at large, and police are intensively investigating the case.

Area cordoned off
On Saturday morning and throughout the day, a large area around Rendsborggade was cordoned off in connection with the investigation. Part of the cordon has since been lifted, but a smaller area at the entrance to buildings 35, 43, 45, and 47 remains closed off.

Residents who observed anything suspicious in the area during the night leading into Saturday or who have information about what took place in the apartment are urged to contact the police on telephone 114.
