Three police employees charged with fraud
Three police employees have been charged with fraud.
This appears from the latest annual report from the Independent Police Complaints Authority (DUP), published on Thursday.
According to the authority, the three police employees allegedly caused their employer to pay mileage allowances by entering information in the police logbook stating that they had driven their own cars between their homes and place of employment, even though they had either carpooled or used police vehicles for the journeys.
The case is still under investigation.
