Traffic changes on the Great Belt Bridge next week

Motorists on the Great Belt Bridge should be aware of changes next week, as maintenance work will be carried out during the evening and night hours from Monday, 13 April to Friday, 17 April.

The work means that traffic between 7:00 p.m. and 5:45 a.m. will be diverted to two-way traffic on one side of the bridge while work is carried out on the other. During this period, there is a speed limit of 80 km/h, and overtaking is prohibited.

To redirect traffic, the bridge will be temporarily closed for up to 45 minutes at a time. This will take place in the evening between 7:00 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. and in the morning between 5:00 a.m. and 5:45 a.m., which may result in waiting times.

The temporary closures will occur on Monday evening, from Tuesday to Thursday both morning and evening, and on Friday morning. It is recommended to cross the bridge outside these time periods.
