FC København Part Ways with Neestrup and Madsen
Head coach Jacob Neestrup and assistant coach Stefan Madsen have left FC København.
This was announced by FC København.
“We have had a good and honest dialogue about the situation, and we fully agree on the conclusion: we have reached the end of a good collaboration, and FC København needs a new head coach,” said Chairman of PARKEN Sport & Entertainment, Henrik Møgelmose, to the club’s website.
“We are playing in the qualification round and are currently 8th in the Superliga overall, so we are far from meeting our sporting ambitions.”
On its website, the club states that it will soon present a new head coach.
According to the football outlet Bold.dk, the new head coach will be Bo Svensson.
