Senior Bandidos Members Convicted of Continuing Banned Organization
Ten prominent members of Bandidos MC in Denmark have been convicted of continuing the banned association, the National Special Crime Unit (NSK) reports.
The conviction was handed down on Friday at the District Court in Glostrup, where the men, aged 44 to 62, were found guilty of repeatedly continuing the association’s activities in the period from January to April 2025.
According to the court, the convicted individuals participated in several meetings concerning Bandidos MC in Denmark, even though the association had already been provisionally banned on 22 May 2024 by NSK with authorization from the Minister of Justice and the Director of Public Prosecutions. At the same time, a case regarding the dissolution of the association had been initiated at the District Court in Helsingør.
Seven of the convicted – including the former national vice president – were found guilty of continuing the association through participation in four meetings, while three others were convicted for participation in three meetings.
In addition, all ten were convicted of attempted continuation, as they planned another meeting during a gathering at an inn near Horsens. However, this meeting was never carried out, as NSK intervened and arrested those involved. Prior to this, meetings had been held at a café in Ishøj.
All ten men have been sentenced to six months of unconditional imprisonment.
Prosecutor at NSK, Malou Engel, says:
-“The ten convicted men, as prominent figures in the leadership of Bandidos MC in Denmark, held several repeated meetings with the aim of coordinating the continued operation of Bandidos MC despite the fact that it was prohibited to continue the association. In the opinion of the prosecution, this has been a systematic continuation in the form of monthly board meetings, without any respect for the issued ban, and I am very satisfied that the court has reached the same conclusion.”
Prosecutor Tobias Baadsgaard-Alrø also highlights the seriousness of the case:
-“This is a special case insofar as the convicted are leading members who have attempted to continue running the association by maintaining Bandidos MC Denmark’s fixed monthly board meetings, even though the association was banned. It is difficult to imagine a more serious violation of the provision in the Penal Code regarding the continuation of a banned association, and this is also reflected in the fact that these are the longest sentences ever imposed for continuing a banned association.”
The ten convicted have appealed the verdict, seeking acquittal.
