Roof fire produced heavy black smoke
The Greater Copenhagen Fire Department (Hovedstadens Beredskab) was dispatched shortly after 10 a.m. on Thursday to a roof fire in a building on Containervej in the Nordhavn district of Copenhagen.
Thick black smoke rose from the fire.
In addition to firefighters, police and ambulances were also present.
In connection with the firefighting efforts, Sundkrogsgade was closed at Istanbulgade.
One person has been taken for observation for smoke inhalation.
Shortly before 11 a.m., the police reported that the fire had been extinguished.
